This drug rehab programme in South Africa continues for eleven months of drug rehab (after completion of a specific treatment programme). During this period the patient and those concerned are provided with:

• Telephonic counselling
• Individual counselling
• Literature
• A support group for recovering alcohol-dependants

The attendance of self-help groups such as drug rehab groups are also encouraged.

Our drug rehab treatment services include the following:

• Motivational counselling
• Training courses, seminars and workshops

We also offer internships to psychology- and social work students and are registered as a training institute for other professionals (medical doctors, psychologists) Community Work (outreach to childrens homes and former disadvantaged communities) is also initiated and facilitated.

The various treatment programmes includes the comprehensive services of the following multi-professional team:

• A part-time psychiatrist, medical practitioner, minister and dietitian;
• Full-time psychologists and social workers
• Full-time nursing staff, available 24 hours a day

Daily communication takes place amongst the members of the professional drug rehab team in order to monitor and adjust the progress and recovery of each patient.
